We are looking for world class engineers eager to design and build systems that capture, analyze, and present data in a manner that informs and shapes everyday choices.

We are looking for:

Fast Learners - We need software engineers who love learning new technologies. Applicants should have advanced knowledge of JavaScript, be experienced with web dev tools, and be capable of learning the latest JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, NodeJS, Grunt, Gulp, Backbone, Ember, SCSS, etc.)
Innovators - Applicants should look at current solutions and know there must be a better way. They should challenge assumed constraints.
Architects - Applicants should know how to build highly scalable and robust services. You stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends.
Minimum BA/BS degree in Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science or related degree
Desired Experience (NodeJS or Rails, Mobile, SQL and / or NoSQL)
Ability to work fast and get things done!

This is a full time, salaried position based in our Arlington, Virginia office (3 minute walk to Rosslyn Metro Station and less than a mile to Georgetown)

Front End Designer / Developer

Front-End Pros - Applicants who have significant experience with HTML5, CSS and Javascript. Angular JS is a huge plus.
Designers - Individuals who can demonstrate their design capabilities.

Technologists - We want individuals who like being up on the latest technology. Experience with NodeJS or Rails, Mobile, SQL and / or NoSQL is not required but is a plus

We need a Design Director to lead the UI and Art Design for our web and mobile apps. Our user interface needs to be beautiful, functional, and intuitive. Inside our app itself we need an aesthetic that is delightful and purposeful - we need to create a world of teamwork that is as beautiful, fun, and engaging as your favorite mobile games.

We need a full stack web developer who is as comfortable designing APIs as UIs and who gets a kick out of both.

Some Musts:

Ability to learn quickly and understand existing applications and architectures
Experience building large, client heavy web applications
Comfortable on an agile team in the early stages of the product lifecycle
Enjoy empirically improving the team’s estimates and velocity
Well versed in CSS and HTML
Experience with many of the following: JavaScript (backbone, angular, ember, knockout, or others), socket.io, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, NoSQL, and Git
Enjoy working with smart, committed teammates
Orientation towards just-the-right-amount-of-testing (not too much too early, not too little too late)

We need a front-end web developer with a great design sense who will dive in and help us build out our web and mobile apps. We’re currently building clients with Angular.js and Ionic. On a daily basis, you’ll be discussing our problem space with the team, figuring out the fastest way we can try out possible solution ideas, collaborating with designers, coding up an interface, connecting it to backend data services, testing it, and rolling it out.
